It seems that the one on the bike is way too long and I wanted to replace it. I'm not spending $123 on an oem one.
Can anyone recommend an aftermarket economical brand / company?

How long is it? Does it hang up on stuff.

Perhaps sag is too great on front forks? It needs to be fairly long to allow full range of movement from the forks.

I've seen worse, but that is pretty long.
Look up Galfer lines on eBay. About $75 after shipping.

It's not terribly long, remember there is normally a headlight under it. Look at RMATV and see if they have a Tusk front line....Same as the Galfer, but cheaper. I've had a custom made stainless line built (for the rear), it was about $50, I'd imagine the front would be too much more.
