Hi another dumb question.
How much of a turn is the KDX throttle?
The reason I ask is I finally finished my hybrid. I bought the bike with out riding it, then it's mchhanical restoration turned into a hybrid which turned into full RB, desert pipe , plus, plus, plus.
Having never ridden a KDX all I can say is this is one angry motor.
My first thoughts on refining this bike for my wants is, I need to get some finer feel and the throttle on the KX and KDX were 1/8 turn. Is a standard KDX 1/4 turn?
Any one use a 1/4 turn and there thoughts.
Thanks

Re: Throttle turn question.
The OEM KDX is greater than 1/4 turn. It is about 100 degrees.
When I did my hybrid i used the KX throttle assembly and it was 1/4 turn. I used it because of that and because it was a better unit.
Maybe you'll get used to it?
If your throttle assemblies are really 1/8 turn the effort to twist the throttle will be greater than a 1/4 or greater turn.

Throttle turn question.
I found the problem. It seems I did not pay enough attention to the position of the plastic locator on the slide spring. It was not in the right place and binding.
To bad it's raining today. If I could hang the back out on concert around the house and only have half throttle
I guess I will just have to get used to the way it goes.
