I doesn't look like you can repack the stock muffler but I do see a drain bolt.
Can you clean the stock muffler and would it help any?

It does help, less smoke and goop. Drain it when warm as it can be thick. I usually balance a styrofoam cup or yogurt cup on the tire and let it do its thing for a while.
