I've searched several times and didn't come up with anything. If I screwed up the search and a thread exists out there, please let me know.
Anyway, has anyone bored/plated a 200 jug into a 220? What were the results?
Anyone turned a 200 into a 220?

IMO if you have to use the 200 jug have it turned into the eric gorr 225 for the money spent you will come out a lot farther ahead. To have the cylinder bored , replated,220 piston would cost the same as having gorr do it and you will get a port job too. The 225 is such a nice engine. A friend had his bored and plated and it was ok but nothing like the 225 kit.

My sons 05 hybrid is bored out to a 220 using the stock 200 cylinder. My CR hybrid has the EG225 kit. I like his power band better. For fast hare scrambles the 225 is better for really tough stuff his is better.

I bought the bike with it already done. I think he calls it the mo better porting? The compression run around 215 psi.

Probably really need to start messing with some obscure needle tapers to take absolute advantage of the port changes.
