Ok, I want to see picture of your "whool" as you took it out. After breathing your exhaust fums for 50 miles, I bet the fmf whool was dripping fresh and blue two stroke oil.

Sorry I couldn't help.

You could have scraped off the black part and fluffed up the rest of it like a pillow. You had two more years of use out of that! How wasteful. :snooty:

I'm sure he'd send it you so you could use it to pack one of your silencers Jason! :partyman:

No need to worry about that. I have a roll of house insulation that I can use to re-pack at least a dozen more silencers.

Phil,
I can't really tell if you are runny are running too rich in oil without seing your spark plug. But, I noticed your bike sputs some blue smoke even when its hot. Yep, I am tempted to say it is oil rich. Then again, maybe its good thing knowing that you have been running the origianl piston for the last 16 years. ... Hey, perhaps you did set a record without knowing it.

Sorry if I broke a secret. Friends? Thanks for digging in the garbage. I had a good laugh.
