Squeaky Brakes
My rear brake is REALLY squeaky. Especially if it's a bit wet. It doesn't make any noise when it's dry (it's been wet for a bit here). It makes me cringe as it's almost as loud as the exhaust if I go down hard on it... Can anything be done? Pads seem ok. What's the best remedy short of putting olive oil on the disk...?

Re: Squeaky Brakes
I would check the pads.. Sometimes a higher quality pad will make all the difference.. Also I wouldn't put anything on the rotor that would inhibit the function of the break

Squeaky Brakes
There are silicone type products sold for car pads that are supposed to stop squeaking. Just apply some to the back side of the pads. Don't know if this works on bike brakes; never tried it.
