Re: Mystery fmf silencer.
that is most likely factory kdx250 front end. KYB 43mm, compression adjustment only. the KDX250 FMF will NOT fit the kdx200 or 220, not even close. look where the pipe goes in at the bottom... the shell of the spark arrestor has a 45deg cut right in the middle, and it's HUGE overall.
That bike is worth it simply in parts. I bought one, a 93, rode it, hated it and parted it for a few bucks and tons of extra parts.
FWIW, I took my kdx250 FMF sparky and cut it up to make a sparky for my hybrid. I bought the bike for $500 and honestly there are so many parts on it that WILL work with an E series KDX, and probably H series, it's a good bike to buy for parts. I sold the engine alone for $500.

Re: Mystery fmf silencer.
HMMMM!! Look at the fork guards on the second one. He has put 1990 - 1993 KX fork guards on a KDX. That might be an option for some KDX forks that don't have the stock wrap-around guards. UFO makes a kit for those early 90's KX's still.
