I recently purchased a 2004 KDX220 that needs new swing arm bushings ( along with bearings and seals). I'd ordered everything through a local dealer but have been informed that the bushings are no longer available from Kawasaki and Pivot Works doesn't offer individual items, just their kit. Does anyone know of another source for just the bushings?
TIA John

Thanks, I did end up ordering a kit. However, I've read some negative comments about the quality of the materials in the "cheap" kits available. I guess I'll find out.

Have you tried any of the online sites? It seems odd that parts would be unavailable already.

I've had good luck with the All Balls kits.

Re: Swing Arm Bushing Availability
I agree, the fact that some high wear parts are no longer available from Kawasaki (I talked to three different dealers and got the same response on the bushings) doesn't bode well for future parts availability. Legally, I think they're obligated to have parts available for 10 years after manufacture -- but I doubt if it's enforced. It looks like it's the aftermarket for parts supply.
