pLease help

Post by kdx2oo »

Rubber oil fill plug twisted off what's best way to get the rest out. I'd prefer to not take my bike apart :prayer:

I drilled a small hole in mine and stuck a flat headed screw driver in. And backed it out

no experience with rubber, but I would try getting a pick in there, as for of center as possible and try to "unscrew" it that way
the real issue will be how tight it is on there.
worst case scenario you get yourself a knife or a dremel and cut it out in pieces

I would either use a Dremel or razor blade and cut a slot in the middle and then use the widest standard screw driver to unscrew it. If using a Dremel be careful not to cut the side of the cover.
