New style tank for old bike

Post by wyocowboy »

Pardon this topic if it has been covered, I looked but did not find!
I have an 86' 200 that I want to upgrade the fuel tank on, something like the newer bikes have.
I realize this will mean a new seat upgrade as well, has anyone gone here?
Thanks

A 1995+ KDX has a perimeter frame with two top rails that the tank fits down in. Otherwise, you can buy and try some other tanks, but I doubt they will not hit other parts of the bike.

It was fairly universal. Came with a couple brackets though we had to make our own.
