Leg Pegs/Steg Pegz

Post by devans »

Has anyone fitted Leg Pegs or Steg Pegz to a H series KDX200? I don't believe either company make them for the KDX. Has anyone custom made some to suit?

Hey guys, I recently made some for my newish WR450F. Honestly, it was a bit harder to make than I anticipated. Figure out your mounting points, then see how far back you want the pegs, then get at it. I can give more details later if you guys want some (needed customised shims/spacers to avoid touching the plastics). I used 5mm aluminum, which is a bit thick. I really like them for higher speed stuff. Definitely helps me when standing.

Here are some pics to give an idea:

(I'll probably be reversing the bolts in the near future, but I'm not too worried about tiny bolts protruding to be honest).

Nice work. Have you thought about making some for your KDX?

Yes I made a pair for my 2001KX Hybrid.

I have moved them forward and out since the original placement on page 18

I don't know if I made reference to that its getting hard to find stuff the post is getting so long.

I don't think you can see my signature which has a link to the start of this build with tap talk?
