Damn! E-series sub-valves are now officially discontinued. Of course, it happened sometime within the last year when I didn't need them. Now that I do... POOF! :kick:

It appears you are right....They were in stock at the Toronto HQ warehouse last month when I picked one up from a Kaw dealer in Kingston. But no telling how many are left ...

Yeah, I actually called my Kawasaki dealer and verified it when it showed unavailable from their online catalog. Anybody know how to find any floating around at a dealer? I need some right now as the race season starts next month!

It doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to get the kips powervalve sets machined. I'm not a machinist, but what would be the hard part? heres an e-bay listing of a company that has machined powervalves for a kmx 200. I think an aftermarket powervalve will be available as soon as the demand hits a high point - soon.

I know these wont fit an e-series kdx200, but just wanted to show what people are doing to fill the void on these discontinued parts.

Supposedly those valves actually will work in the 89-94 kdx200s with a spacer disc/collar on the bottom and different size one for the top(1mm and 14mm).

There is a couple problems, they are outrageously(!) expensive and they don't make them with opposite incline of the valve "cut out" port section. They all have the cut-out going on the same angle, look again at the picture. Brock told me it makes no difference but I I couldn't see how it could work right...

I was in touch with Broke for like 7 months by email with getting the whole bushing/spacer things made up but he always seemed to put it off and eventually stopped getting back to me on it. Too expensive for me anyways, he wanted another 15 euros for the bushings, something that isn't even designed properly or made for the kdx200

From what I read from BDK was that only the left valve could be made to work on the KDX.

Eh, I'm getting really close to pulling the trigger on just parting her out. I found a really good deal on a Gas Gas EC250, which would be better for desert riding/racing than the KDX, so I'm having a tough time justifying playing the "I hope I can find parts now and in the future" waiting game.

That is exactly why I sold my 1986 KX250. I was spending more time trying to find parts and waiting for parts than actually riding the bike.
