c series cylinder sleeve?

Post by dsmitty »

Help. Ive got an aircooled 88 kdx 200. It the piston needs replaced and the cyl. wall is scored a little. It looks like it has a sleeve. I cant find sleeves anywhere. Also does anybody know where to get a "woods low end torquey pipe like the fmf gnarly. Fmf doesnt make em for the aircooled anymore. I know DG makes one but Ive heard it is tuned the same as a stock pipe. Anyboby know bout this stuff? Thanks for any help.

If it is sleeved, then a sleeve generally can be bored, honed and an oversized piston installed.

As far as I know, DG is the only new pipe avaiable. DMC, FMF, Krause and PSI used to make pipes.

Answer, DMC and Richter used to make silencers / spark arrestors. I do not know if an FMF universal Turbine Core II will fit.
