Hi guys,just got some boyseen reeds in the mail and when I pulled the reed block and found these reeds.

Anybody know what type these are? Are they any good?
97-220 with a PC pipe. 2015- RB carb and head mod

boyesen pro series, nice setup. If they're worn out you could just flip em around and they'll be good as new

1st time I've done this so a few questions. Frayed around the edges means worn, right? I didn't get a gasket for the reed cage and want to ride this weekend. Anybody ever use yamabond as a temporary gasket material? I'm thinking if it's good enough to seal the engine on my RD, it should seal the reed cage?

yeah if its frayed on the edges its a lil worn, but if it still seals properly and everything else looks good then id still run it. that yamabond stuff should work but it'll make a mess, id just get gasket paper and cut yourself a new gasket. thats what i did, and 3 years later its still holding up just fine
