2003 kdx220

Post by Drmiller98 »

Just a few days ago I picked up a 2003 kdx 220, pretty much bone stock. The previous owner already had drilled out the airbox cover and replaced some broken plastics. But I still find the squared off front fender kind of ugly. Has anyone on here put a new style kx250/450f front fender on they're kdx, if so how does it look, and where can I find a reasonably priced one. thanks

You can easily run any fender you want. I have the new style KX fender and light on my bike, it bolted right up.

Please check your piston, I just pulled mine about 1 hour ago. There was a crack starting to form. Check out the pictures I just posted. (maybe someone will help get the photos up)

And I actually just took it apart and looked at everything, surprisingly it was fine, planning in rebuilding it in a few weeks anyway, thanks for the heads up though

I got mine all back together today with a wiseco piston. I actually replaced all the gaskets instead of being a cheapo and just re-using them. Maybe wisdom does come with age. Started on the second kick.
