I have always ran ams oil interceptor in my kdx but recently i went to my local dealer to get it and all they had was amsoil injector oil for a sled, the mechanic said it was fine to run it. I didnt realy want ti run it but i realy wanted to go riding so i got it anyways. The bike ran the same for about a week with that different oil but after 10 minutes if just putting around my bike suddenly wont hit the powerband. It starts and runs just fine in the bottem end but has no powerband what so ever and wont rev out. I cleaned the carb and checked the powervalve so what else could it be

So are you meaning that you can't get the engine to reach higher rpms when the throttle is opened? Amsoil Interceptor and Injector are very nearly the same, so running either one is fine. I assume you used the same ratio for both? Have you pulled the plu to take a look? How much spooge do you normally see/see now? Have you checked anything besides the carb and powervalve? Start at the beginning of the intake tract and work through the whole system, making sure it is mechanically sound. Compression check, check all electrical connections.

I had the same symptons when my stock silencer plugged up.
It was running fine, I was riding a lot. I went to an enduro and on the open sections it just would not go.
I dinked around with the carb and timing and KIPS. A buddy of mine was following me one day and said my exhaust sure did not look right.

I swapped my silencer out for another banged up OEM unit and off we went

Thats a good point, if you have the stock silencer warm the bike up then pull off the little drain plug and let it empty out.

There shouldnt be any major problems because i did. Complete rebuild in the winter, i cleaned the silencer and just put a new head gasket on because i wanted to see how the top end was doing and it still doesnt want to rev out and hit the powerband, ill prob try playing with the carb next
