1989. 99% sure because the green spring

To be sure, check the 12 digit VIN stamped into the side of the steering stem

The bike was "painted" green over the plastic , the spring was painted too.

hey you got 4-5 months before I get there
plenty of time to build it, wreck it, build it better and let me wreck it

sides, KDXs are kinda like gremlins, you leave one in the garage overnight and next thing you know there are 5 of them

KDX200 YEAR!

89-94 are all the same "E" series KDX. A couple small adjustments made within that time frame is the upside down forks for '93 and '94 models and a couple minor changes to the water pump and power-valve

We don't have the G model in the USA, so I don't know what the difference would be between 1989 and 1994 G models.

In the USA, a few refinements over the years, including the main change, USD cartridge forks instead of conventional damper rod forks.

(what gotanubike beat me to saying) :partyman:

Buy the Kawasaki CD. Maybe I have posted the part number on this site. Look around the internet for the part number. I only paid around $12 I think for it.

No problem on the inglais.

Posssible that it is a 1996, it definitely is a SR. You can see the frame mounts for the passenger pegs and the flange on the metal tank. It's got a lot of work to do...brake lines are toast, right peg is bent down fairly bad, lots of hardware missing, mounts broken. Looks like it was thoroughly abused and then thrown in the ocean
