Well, the obvious questions first: Does the motor still turn over?, is there any compression? Do you have spark? What kind of noise? Hard to help troubleshoot a vaguely worded issue. And posting it multiple times in different threads doesn't get you more responses.

Pretty sure your piston broke the skirt. Does it still have the stock piston or did you switch to a wiseco? Could have done damage to the cylinder + ports. Strange that you are still getting good compression readings though. Take the cylinder off and inspect your piston and cylinder wall.

If the skirt broke you would notice it with the cylinder off. Are you sure the sound came from the top end? You took the cylinder off, hopefully you had a manual handy so you didn't damage the KIPS actuator (its got a left hand thread nut). wouldn't hurt to pull the clutch side cover off and take a look . If you have spark, compression, and fuel it will run, it doesn't know any better not to.

Can you post a picture of the cylinder and piston?

What amount of play did you measure in the big end bearing?
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net. :bravo:
