usd help

Hey everybody,
Im new to the site and new to the kdx. my son bought his first big bike its a 96 kdx 200. So far im pretty
happy about his purchase. I need to rebuild the forks and i am not shure what these usd forks are
off of. I need to figure it out, its hard to keep the boy off his new bike.

hard to tell without some more info
but congrats on the KDX
they are great bikes

if you can post some pictures and measurement of the forks then maybe we can figure it out for you

Upload to an image host such as http://www.photobucket.com. After uploading, they give you a set of links on the right side that you can copy and paste here. Post the bottom one wrapped in the [IMG] brackets

Sorry the photos are not the best im just lucky i figured out the picture thing before i tossed the computer into the yard. I did find some #s at the base of the fork it looked like kx84. at the top of the
fork is a air bleeder and dampning screw. there is no rebound screw at the bottom of the fork, just a large allen head recessed plug.

Sorry. Definitely NOT from a KLX. The fork caps have a rebound adjustment in the middle and air release on the side.

Measure the chrome, inner tube diameter.

If they are KX125 or KX250, then I know they are not newer than 1998, as the axle mount changed in 1999.
