moose racing KIPS tuning kit

Hello, I read in the Newb thread there were moose racing KIPS tuning kit .. I have done some research but have not found anything great about , nothing in Moose website...someone would have a link to order one to test on my bike?

From what I could find they are replacement pre-load springs for the centrifugal governor gear(located inside the right-side cover). They offered a lighter spring for faster action on opening of the KIPS, as well as a heavier spring for a slower action on the KIPS..

I would think a lighter spring would make the KIPS much more active, but they would also strip a lot faster too

The KIPS could move less or more depending on which spring you use and where you tend to operate the bike rpm wise.

thank you guys for the explanations! this kit seems me an old product so I think I have no chance to find a kit for sale!

I'd have to say the governor spring and the actuation gears are mutually exclusive.
