front tire offset
I was out riding the other day and my buddy noticed my front tire was closer to the disc brake side fork than the odometer cable side, I pull the tire off and can't see anything is this normal? If not what am I missing it is a 2001 kdx 220.

A while back I unlaced my wheels to paint the hubs. When I relaced and trued the front wheel I found it was closer to the brake side as well. I looked at pictures I took earlier and it was centered before.
I made measurements for offset but apparently as I trued the wheel it drew it to the brake side. I went back and loosened the spokes and made a concerted effort to keep the offset measurement correct that time! It was a chore but eventually the wheel was centered and true enough for an almost 20 year old dirt bike.
