Sorry for the newby question but I have searched and searched and have not really found an answer.
I recently acquired a 2003 KDX for cheap and once I got it home realized there was something a miss with the rear end. After taking it apart I found that pretty much all the bearings were shot. After lots of PB blaster and patience I have gotten the old bearings out some fresh ones in.
My question is once I got the seals and sleeves on the unitrack the sleeve does not rotate easily, it rotates but I have to muscle it pretty good.
Any ideas of where I might have gone wrong?
Thanks
A
How easy should a bearing sleeve rotate with fresh bearings?

Haven't had that problem myself. You have to be careful when installing those needle bearings not to deform the end lips of the outer race. I like to use a 2 diameter driver with a pilot the same OD as the inner race bushing. If installed with uneven force, you could deform the lips and cause the needles to bind up.

seals add a fair amount of resistance.Try removing them then rotating the sleeve.
