don't go cheap imo. That would work but you would hate it later because your limited as to what you can use it for. Think about it for a min. If you get just a regular trailer you can easily use it to haul other things.
I have one like bufftester and I love it. I now use it for the atv and I use it for the mower and moved things with it. Poop for the garden hahahaha. Bike on the weekends. I agree with the steel mesh being somewhat weak. I just slap some plywood down and all good. Something with sides helps secure a lot.
So I searched your cl and seen some good deals actually from a dealer. Save a few more weeks and pick one of his trailers up. Dang trailers in your area go for a ton. Here in my area they are fairly cheap not too many farms and such I suppose.

Nice enclosed you can use as a sleeper. This is my next plan or something along these lines. I can camp and ride the next day. Thought about an RV but Im not that lazy.

Go also and check out a home depot or lowes if you got something like that around and see their prices.
A kdx fits in most cars too just pop the forks off and rear swingarm and good to go
