Intended usage? Terrain? Need a little more to go on. Riding sand or rocks? Dual sporting?

There prices seem a little high. For example Rocky mountain sells the trackmaster for 51.99 and riders discount sells it for 70.46

riders discount has free shipping
RMATV has free shipping on order over $100.00

true, that $100.00 is an easy barrier to break but if all he needs is one tire prices might be close, once shipping is considered

(I always get a discount from riders discount since I live a couple of block up the road of their warehouse and pick my parts up)

Again, usage? I wouldn't recommend the same tire for sand as I would for rocks or dual sport use.

I put a Metzler MC-5 on my 200 and it stuck like glue in my muddy, rocky, sandy, ledgey, hardpacked, hilly, gravely, New England conditions. I just got another one for my 220.

Here you are http://www.bikebandit.com/kenda-k775-wa ... cycle-tire they also make this tire in a "sticky" compound. I didn't do that this time, might do it on my wifes new bike. The knobs (IIRC) looked to be about an inch tall. I bought F/R for my KDX and for my wifes "old" bike, she has ridden hers more than I have mine.....she loves hers. I did about 20 miles in Tahuya, on the harder packed 2 track, handled great, even over the smooth, oval "river rock" they didn't seem to "push through" at all. My wife rode them at Tahuya and in Odessa at the D100, she just told me that they really impressed her in the rocks, eastern WA sharp edged and W WA round loose stuff. She felt they where as slippery on wet roots as any tire she has used (no different) including the 403/404 combo she had on her first bike. I felt the same about roots, but the tractability in everything else I rode was great. Good feel, little to no "push" and they grip dirt and expel it very well (read roost the crap out of they guy behind you).
