what year should i get?

Post by jonnyrider »

hello my name is jonnyrider and I am new to this great site.
I've been looking through craigslist and have found a couple of kdx 200 for sale. One is a 1996 and and the others range from 2000 to 2002. Wondering which year is better than the other. They all look identical to me

1995-2006 (H series), are the same bike. I would go more on the condition of it then anything else.

Check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_KDX200

I believe that wikipedia page was created by someone on this site.

Welcome to the forums.

Like he said, just go with the condition.

wow thanks for quick response.
for the most part they look pretty good.
the 96 has had the front end conversion to USD and FMF fatty which im leaning towards. asking 1500
the others are pretty much bone stock and are round the same price

guess im gonna have to draw straws

yes, once you get passed 96 condition is MUCH more important then age (at best, you are still getting a 8 year old bike)

the one thing the 96s have that is way cooler then any of the newer ones is the barney colour scheme

if the bikes you are looking at are on the internet post the adds up and we will give our modest opinions on them
