This might be the one I'll trade in the Bandit on. I rarely do any long distance travel on my streetbike, and this looks like the perfect bike to terrorize the neighborhood and the trails........ What do yall think??

At the weight and the cost I'd look at picking up a left over 04 or 05 DRZ/KLX400S (street model) which after you toss the tires (deathwings) and loose the smog equipment is a pretty nice e-start dual purpose bike. I've got a lot of time in one of these and the stock motor is smooth and powerful, when your moving down the trail its easy to forget the bike weighs in about the same as a tank! Its also a very overbuilt 4 stroke motor. Damn near indistructable from what i've seen. Think XR400 on steroids. Also lots of easy hop-ups for it.

My $0.02. :partyman:

That looks like a very interesting bike. If you are out shopping, you may want to check on the Suzuki m0rie mentioned.

By the way, the Kawasaki version was just 2003.

I keep forgetting that it was a one year Kawi model in the US. You can still get it in Canada.

I THINK they look like KLX250 (the 1994 - 1996 version) or KLX300 forks.
