I would definitely NOT count on that. This seller is the perfect example of somebody not knowing squat and not taking care of their stuff.
if you get a 220, get a piston kit, open the bike up and if you're lucky and the piston has already been swapped, then you have an extra one for the next rebuild :wink:

Just to kick the dead horse, I have seen plenty of 220s that have the original piston in them after all this time. Unless it grenades most people just keep riding. I talked to half a dozen 220 riders this past weekend at the Desert 100, newest bike was a 2001, oldest a 1998, and not one of them had serviced the top end (and they were all original owners of the bikes from day 1). Too bad I didn't have a bunch of kdxrider.net stickers...I did repeat the website to them over and over tho lol
