Coolant hose fit between E and H series

Ive been looking at pictures of E and H series kdx 200 coolant setups in factory configuration for the last hour. They look close, but...
I need new hoses on my E series 200. a complete kit for an E series is a tough find, if at all. Has anyone tried fitting H series hoses to an E series?

Several online places (Motosport, etc) carry most of the hoses. The only one that seems hard to find is the right side tube from the water pump to the lower radiator. Seems I remember that that hose is a bit longer on the E than the H, but it may fit. I'll have access to an E-model and a H this weekend. I'll have to add this to the list of measurements to make as I'm trying to build a good database of interchangeable parts to keep my dad's old E up and running.

I remember seeing a aftermarket kit for H series hoses, this kit however included one extra longer hose, maybe this extra hose is what the E series uses instead.

one example,

the hose in the far left in the picture is the one I'm referring to

Not sure if you ever ended up finding a hose kit for your E but there is currently a set on ebay...

I purchased a hybrid and have kinda slowed up working(spending $$$) on my kdx200. FWIW, I believe that the 220 kit will fit the 200e, as there is an extra hose in almost every kit for the H series. now I would like to know if the 200 and 220 H series hoses are the same, if someone can confirm

*edit* I had my eye on the silicone hoses.

The H series 200 and the 220 use the same hoses.

hmm, well I think I'm going to order a set of silcone hoses for a kdx200/220H and see what I get as far as them fitting an E series. just from the pictures, they look close.

I haven't tried the fit yet. I imagine I'll be putting the kdx200 back together around the 1st of the year. I'll post results at that time.

Quick question. Why is coolant hose bike specific? Isnt it like a car engine where you buy it in bulk and cut it to lengths you need?

No, it's molded, like a radiator hose.
