spongy front brakes on my 2006 KDX200
I have bled my front brakes on my 2006 kdx 200 with motul 600 racing brake fluid and they are still spongy , no leaks or air in system. It has sat idle the last two months. Any suggestions?, Thanks Jim Miller-Lite

Loosen off the reservoir cap but don't remove....pull in the brake lever then cable tie it to the handle bar ...leave over night then in the morning gentley tap the brake hose starting from the caliper to remove any bubbles left in the hose, next remove the cable tie & let the brake lever out slowly...pump a few times & re-fit the reservoir cap...job done your brake should be good, if not something else is a miss !

I've had success using my Mity_Vac...
Although it seems results can vary!

none of these suggestions helped, ended up replacing brake line and that cured it. Nose wheelies are a breeze now.

Tying the lever is a myth. It goes against the mechanics of the m/c.cornishwrecker220 wrote:Loosen off the reservoir cap but don't remove....pull in the brake lever then cable tie it to the handle bar ...leave over night then in the morning gentley tap the brake hose starting from the caliper to remove any bubbles left in the hose, next remove the cable tie & let the brake lever out slowly...pump a few times & re-fit the reservoir cap...job done your brake should be good, if not something else is a miss !
