More light, need a resume

Post by frenche200 »

Hello, I read some topics here on how to have a more powerful lighting
Some use led lights, others add a regulator, others seems modify the stator ... I'm a little lost...
Could someone explain to me, as if I were a child, how to have more light ?
Thank you :)
i'm French and I don't speak English very well, so, please, excuse me :)

I do believe that you have to rewind the stator to run brighter lights! There is a how to on the site!

Try a pair of 9 watt leds in the acerbis dhh light. Impressive. Also before I switched to that I ran a blue colored bulb 35watt in the stock light assembly that was way brighter than factory. Just cant remember where I bought it at

No that is a replacement led. This is the light assembly I used http://shops.hookit.com/acerbis/ViewPro ... /3408.aspx
With this type bulb

The blue bulb I have I cannot remember where I bought it from, but it is 35 watt and quite a bit brighter

If you don't want to try re-winding on your own, this one works really well.

+1 for the faint of heart. Keep in mind that you're not going to get 100W out of a KDX stator regardless of whether you buy one or rewind your own, probably more in the range of 60-85W
