Stock Headlight Aim???

Even though it's still winter in Idaho, I ride when I can. For now that means on the streets back and forth to college classes. But it gets dark early. I have discovered that my headlight is GREAT for checking the trees for monkeys and not so great at checking the road for ice patches. CAN THE STOCK HEADLIGHT OF A 2003 KDX 220 BE AIMED AT THE GROUND INSTEAD OF THE TREES? Seeing the road would be nice.

Thanks.

PS. Also why is there not a 220a forum in the Model Specific Forum section?

The screw under the headlight is the adjuster. Loosen it it will lower the beam, tighten it will raise it.

I bought a new longer screw and a stronger spring for mine.

there is no 220 section because the H series 200 and A series 220 are the same with the exception of the topend of the motor

Because it isn't any different than any other KDX manufactured since 1995?

Awesome. I found the screw walking by my bike. When I get some time, I'll play with it.

THANKS!

Found the screw and adjusted it. The previous owner had it 100% screwed in  I think that squashed my spring flat. I think I'll be getting another spring in the future.
