I have a set of 97 KX 250 forks that I am planning on putting on my 2000 KDX. The calipers between those 2 years are interchangeable. Hope that helps some.

yes it will, but I would flip it the hose for a tighter fit to the fork and less chance of it getting caught

95+ KDX brake calipers work, with a few brake line "issues". 90-94 calipers will not work.
Brake line routing becomes the biggest issue when using KDX calipers. I used a KX brake line and caliper for stock KX style routing (Under the fork) instead of fabbing up fork guard mounts to route KDX (CR) style. But there are other options, let me know if you want more info on this.
