forks and rear shock
ive seen a couple things about forks from klx on here and how are they performance wise, but also what about other models and would the rear shock from like a 450 or somthing work

Take a look at the Fork Conversion subforum for a look at many different front fork options folks here have run, what it takes to mount them, and what they think about them.
The stock rear shock performs well, fits cleanly, and is already matched to the leverage ratio on the rear end. Revalving/respringing it to your weight and style will probably give you way better results than finding some way to shove another one in its place.
