Tusk Handlebars

Post by jschexna »

I found a site with Tusk aluminum bars on sale for about $20.00. They come in the usual cr yz kx rm hi lo bends and look very similar to the Renthals on my CR250 which cost $100.00. Not being familiar with this brand, I looked at all of the Tusk products offered and they seem very durable ( overbuilt like the Moose stuff) Does anyone have these bars and if so what is your opinion. I may order 2 at this price and throw a pair on my wife's ttr.

I don't have the Tusk bars. I do have Tusk Bark Busters and they are a great value for the price. For $20 i'd give the bars a try!

My buddy I was riding the HS had the Tusk Bars (AGAIN HAD) clipped a tree in ST and know they are Chopper bend bars. Could not finish his final lap.

He was moving, but not as fast as you think. He went over the bars and the KDX landed ontop of him. Took his wind right out  I came around the corner and it looked like a Buffalo just had his way with him  He did have BB on

I've got 'em on the DR and the KDX

One's on the KDX have taken some good hits and are a little wonky but I have not found a bar yet that won't get a lil wonky after being on the KDX

I've got Fatbars on the DL and think I'll convert the others to those when the time comes

For a few $ more, Throttlehead.com has MSR Dominators for $24 and ProTaper SEs are $46 for most bends. I ordered Henry bend for $36.

I got in the Tusk KX high bends yesterday. They are about 1.5" higher than the stockers and almost an inch wider on both ends. They are very light and sturdy and my alloy barkbusters fit on just fine. Not bad for $20.00. Oh yeah, and the ready filter for my son's crf was $8.00 and it ended up being a 3-pack for that price. Maybe I need to buy a lotto ticket. :partyman:
