Aftermarket Radiators

Post by silverfoxracing »

Newbie on the block, Raced the old KDX 200's and 175's back in the day, and just picked up a 90 model for a rebuild and some fun. Need some new radiators. Can anybody tell me what other models fit? eg would a 96 rad fit? or KX ones?? Thank. This is a great site, so will have lots more questions!! Can you buy new power valve cogs?

the E-series radiator only fits the E-series bikes, 89-94. Several members on here have used ebay ones with good results. You can still get exhaust valve pieces as well. The E-series is known to eat the subvalve gears

Half correct. The left one is interchangeable. It is a different part number, but the only difference is the H&A model radiators have a sensor port capped off. The color is different also, but the attachments points are the same. I have personally ran a left side E radiator on my H until I could get a replacement. The right side is way different.

Thought I would throw that out there in case you only needed the left one.
