i have a loncin 150 cc scooter .all panels are broken but i still ride it on the road etc....
now this guy wants to swop me his 1995 kawasaki kdx 250 cc for my scooter...but the kdx does not start he says it keeps on flooding and theres something wrong with the compression..i also checked and his exhaust is broken off..
now all i want to know is that is the swop a good swop or not....

how much would it cost me more or less to get the bike running,,

As far as the values of the two bikes, it is a good trade. Your Chinese scooter with all the bodywork broken off of it is probably worth less than the rear fender on the KDX.

Getting the KDX running will most likely cost you somewhere between $500 and $2,500 depending on what is wrong with it and whether or not you can do the work yourself. From your description, I'm guessing this is not the most beautiful KDX we have ever seen.

The question is which is most valuable to you? If you need the scooter to get to work, I would keep the scooter. If the scooter is sitting under a tree in your backyard and you have no further interest in it, the KDX might be a fun project for you.
