Anyone know which issue of dirt rider the h series 200 was tested? I'm going to order it from ebay if I can find it.

I can't answer your question specifically, but just did a Google search on KAWASAKI KDX 200 220 TEST, and found lots of interesting reading. I would think this would give you the information you are looking for.

Tried that as well, but couldn't pin down which was a full test and which were just one page - style recaps. Id like the full test with dyno like dirt rider used to do. I'd like to nail it down before I spend $20 on an old magazine lol.

I just ordered the nov 94 issue! I'll post high res photos of the test when it gets here. We'll finally know for certain the weight and hp numbers in a few days!

Don't cha hate spoilers? Lol. No, that's fine. I'm way more interested in seeing a hp/torque chart than anything else. Unless dirt rider wasn't doing dyno runs by then. If that's the case I just wasted ten bucks lol. I know it has about 28 horsepower but I'd like numbers throughout the curve. It feels like it has a whole lot of torque so that number has me curious as well.

Got the mag in today and no dyno chart. Boo! Only a two page quick test that happened to mention a 238 pound wet weight with no gas. Dirt rider sucks without the tech specs they used to have in the 80's. Well, $10 wasted lol. Still cool to look at old mags though.

It would've ruled if it had tech specs and a dyno run. That was the only reason I EVER read dirt rider. It sucks if you are looking for informative reviews, as this example shows.

There's an e series dyno chart in this series of posts that should be close to the h series in power. That's as close as we're going to get I suppose.

Thanks for posting that link, I missed it when you originally posted it. I had an '89 250WR with a Pro-Circuit engine back in '92. It was super fast for it's day.
