2002 H-series 200.

I've got an FRP Torque Ring with a Gnarly Woods. For this rebuild, I ordered a copper gasket, but the pipe sticks out so far that I can see the first rubber o-ring. Is it okay to go without the stock gasket and use RTV?

Or is the Torque Ring even worth it, and I should just go with stock and the copper gasket?

IMO the torque ring with the Gnarly woods is overkill on the 200. Have seen plenty of folks use RTV, I'm just not a fan.
