Rotor Compatibility
While rebuilding, I need a new rear rotor since the one on there was shot. What other models (KX, KLX?) will fit the KDX wheel? Furthermore, what other parts in general are interchangeable? Thanks!

Re: Rotor Compatibility
Got to know what year it is......
If E series rotors are cross compatible with H series that would be great, but KX rotors are out, they will not cross over at all.

Re: Rotor Compatibility
I thought there was a tread on here not to long ago where KX rotors could be used but the mounting holes had to be reamed a little.

Re: Rotor Compatibility
AH, but you can get E series rotors for 1/2 the price, so just knowing if they are cross compatible, somehow I think that they are....since the wheels just swap over, then who cares if you can use a KX rotor?

Re: Rotor Compatibility
Exactly--we're going budget here. I'd love a list of any or all direct fits onto an H-series hub. Or any other parts that are interchangeable. I know when I had my CRF 230, I was able to graft a complete XR250 front end on by just using a few washers.6 Riders wrote:AH, but you can get E series rotors for 1/2 the price, so just knowing if they are cross compatible, somehow I think that they are....since the wheels just swap over, then who cares if you can use a KX rotor?

Re: Rotor Compatibility
For rear rotor, H (all years) A (all years), KLX300 (all years) and KDX250-D1-4 (91-94) are interchangeable directly.
Not sure about the E models...they are interchangeable with KX500 (all years), and the K and L model KX125/250s. Seems I remember reading somewhere they didn't fit the H/A's without reaming them as stated in the post above
