Fuel leak??

Post by trevorda8 »

I left my fuel on overnight and the next day I noticed a lot of gas that had leaked. I am wondering if anyone knows where the leak might be from experience with KDX's.
Thank you for your input.

My first thought would be a bad petcock, second would be a stuck float. I'm sure there are more things that it could be, but those two hit me first.

stuck float, or a bit of sand or something in the seat of the float needle, or float needle is worn. Easy enough to tear down and clean the carb, reset the float height and inspect your float needle/seat...or just remember to turn off the gas
