Daystar fork boots for 93 KDX200?

Post by Goofaroo »

I have started another project and I am going through a 93 model KDX200 for my son in-law. I need to order some new fork boots and I'm not sure which Daystar boots will fit. I have tried searching on here and haven't been able to find a definite answer. I used the model 69 on my 1987 build. Are they also correct for the 1993 model?

Daystar fork boots for 93 KDX200?

Daystar Series 69 should be a good fit on the E-Series conventionals.

But there's some wires crossed somewhere in the information here; The '93 KDX has upside-down forks

Thanks for the tip. I know nothing about the E series but I bought the bike understanding that it was a 1993 model. After your post I ran the VIN against a decoder and now know that it is a 1992 model. My parts searches will probably yield better results, lol. The fork on mine looks about (or exactly) like the one on my 1987 model so I figured it had to be the "69" model boots.
