Do you loose all of your clutch lever functionality with the Dyna ring? Can you still use it for when you start moving? Or when you want to feather the clutch for powering up something?

Yes, you keep your clutch override. It will be a lot stiffer than stock, and, depending on how you have it adjusted, it can totally disengage or only partially.
