I cant upload pics from my phone but i took the head off the KDX and there was a chunk busted out of the cylinder and chunks of piston and or cylinder going down the exaust port. Also looked like something was catching on the ports (there were lips at the top of every port). What could cause this?
Some people asked if i mixed my gas in my introduction and yes i mixed my gas 32:1 with castrol oil and the previous owner ran klotz (not sure what ratio)

Lots of hours on a cast piston, skirt breaks eventually, and you see the type of damage you now have. Not at all unusual.

Re: Found out whats wrong with my KDX
Had it been a 220 we would have said check the piston, they have a long history of coming apart at the skirts, but not something you hear about a lot with the 200's. Not uncommon with cast pistons though. Fortunately it is repairable ...unfortunately it's not exactly cheap
