need help in jetting.

Post by the trail rider »

I have read the guide and read responses to other peoples jetting questions. have a 220 stock carb rev pipe. power reeds.turbine coreII spark arrestor. and wiseco piston. I ride in mountains in western washington. 500 to 6000 feet. usually 500 to 4000 though. I have heard that a 40 142 combo or a 42 142 combo with the needle in neutral or up a notch. am I close in jetting recomendations or am I way off :? . anybody have this exact same set up and have a jetting setup that they want to share. thanks

That should be close enough for running safe. Do a throttle chop on a fresh plug and read it to see how close you are getting to lean and make adjustments from there. I suspect you could go a bit lower on the pilot jet. I have and it helps with the fuel economy.
