Oil under the KDX

Post by G22inSC »

I went out to do a little work on the boys bike this morning and noticed an oil spot under the KDX. Didn't have time to really investigate but it appears to be filter oil. It ran out the bottom of the air filter box, dripped onto the swingarm and then onto the shop floor. It has been sitting for a month or so and the shop does get pretty hot in the Southeast heat right now. It is just a storage building with a steel roof. The last time I oiled the filter I used the No-Toil system. I don't know if the heat did something and the oil liquified or what but I have never noticed this before. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have anything positive or negative to say about the No-Toil?

I use the no-toil air filter stuff and have no complaints. might be you put a little too much on and it just dripped off?
