Re: Hi gents
IN the UK you'll have a frame number, which doesn't always match the VIN decoders on the net. Likely its an SR. Does it have lights, passenger pegs, turn signals, steel tank, etc? If I remember correctly I read somewhere that in UK the DVLA provides the vin and that DVLA supplied ones are usualy 17 characters long starting with the letters SABTVRO and then 10 numbers. In the states a vin never uses Q, I, Z, or O. Post a pic if possible.

Hi gents
Hi danny & welcome to the site...i`m from the UK also...your kdx looks tidy, your model is a kdx 200 E & was made from 1989-1993 hope this helps...also judging by the pics i would say its the full enduro version ( better ) & not the more softer, road bias version which came with a metal fuel tank, rear pillion pegs, indicators, smaller carb etc.. you shouldnt have too many problems with finding parts as they were & still are a popular bike although more popular state side than here in the UK.

Re: Hi gents
Looks like a 1992 KDX200-E4, in the states the 93-94s had USD forks, not sure if they did in the UK though. Regardless, it looks very clean!

Re: Hi gents
with the green rear shock spring and the blue "kdx" font on the radiator shrouds it looks to be an 89' model to me...very nice looking bike!bufftester wrote:Looks like a 1992 KDX200-E4, in the states the 93-94s had USD forks, not sure if they did in the UK though. Regardless, it looks very clean!

Hi gents
check out `MD racing products` here in the UK, they stock UFO plastic kits & have a set of side pannels for yours for around £40...i too would keep the graphics standard , sticker kits do come up from time to time.

Re: Hi gents
I know you are in the UK but here is a link to RD Decals. I have used their Unitrak decals on my '89 and they are just as nice as the factory ones.
