KDX rear fender options
I have been practicing many crazy hill climbs on my 2005 KDX 200 and I broke the rear fender is there any other options with out purchasing another $60.00 fender? If I keep breaking the rear fender I don't want to have to waste $60.00 on a new fender. I found one on motosport.com and its made by Acerbis its a universal one do you think that could fit my KDX if I modify the universal fender just right? The universal one is just $20.00 which is pretty cheap the KDX is a very good practice bike but I don't want to have to put alot of money into it.

Re: KDX rear fender options
best I know you have 3 options, the stock version
an aftermarket stock version (like a UFO or acerbis)
or a maier MX style fender
those will be the only bolt on options
if you are willing to try and make something fit, the options are endless depending on how handy you are
or...you could stop flipping the bike

Re: KDX rear fender options
I mounted a KX 125 fender to mine...I believe the fender was for a 94 KX but I'm not positive.

Re: KDX rear fender options
if you are crazy for flipping your bike, you could design a simple grind bracket similar to a rear rack to protect or kinda of take the impact from flipping. these are what some tends to do when learning wheelie.
A true KDX customizer!!
