Just put a new tyre on the DR last nite, fit it with a MSR Ultra Heavy Duty tube
Went on super easy, even though it was an 18" tube going on a 17" wheel (can't find Ultra's for 17's)
Breaking the bead, now thats some fun for ya! I tried a vise, C-clamps, lube, the ol' kickstand trick... (I'm Googling bead breakers this very moment)
Another fun part was when I took a quick ride around the block to try to burn off some of the mould release, I pulled on to the road out in front of my house, grabbed second gear and gave 'er a big twist, new Kenda Trackmaster broke loose just as I met a city cop! OH SHeee-it! Last I saw him he was on the brakes and heading for the shoulder like he was going to flip a U-turn , but I never saw him again....
Does this look like a logical method.
