How much trouble is this headlight installation?
I've seen a few people on here that have put these universal headlights on KDXs and I'm thinking about purchasing one myself. (The 30 dollar ones from ebay) Can anyone tell me how much trouble they are to install and what I'll have to do? I currently have a '98 220 with a working stock headlight. (Just going for more modern looks) Thanks in advance!

If you can get the old one off you can put the new one on. Hardest part is the wiring. easiest way to tackle that is use inline crimps that way you leave the stock wiring intact if you ever want to put the original back on.

Re: How much trouble is this headlight installation?
on a side note, most people like the rubber straps that these headlights mount with but I prefer the stock mounts (which should fit or at least be close)
the 2 main reasons I don't like the rubber is that for starters, they break and when they break you have to buy new ones, yuck
secondly, I have a KX front end on my bike and the rubber straps limit the steering even more
just food for though
