Hello,
I'm getting my bike SM rims but I'm not sure if the stock swing arm will fit?
I'm having a 17" pair, rear is 130/70 and front is 80/90 17 and will change to 110/70 17, so do you think this will fit or it will be a little bit too think?
Thanks
Dan

KDX and SM rims
you need to know the rim widths before deciding on tyres really,daibosatsu_tooge wrote:Hello,

I use a 3.5" front and a 4.25" rear, with talon hubs.
tyres are 120/70/17 front and 160/60/17 rear.

yes I am using the stock swing arm with no modifications, apart from I do use a narrow DID x-ring chain.daibosatsu_tooge wrote:Thanks for the reply, I asked on your topic also ;) My concern is will the stock swing arm fit with your setting?

I wouldn't use anything bigger than a 4.25 rim on the rear, and if you want a bit of extra clearance use a 150 tyre.

Re: KDX and SM rims
Ive been searching around and for the best price I think Warp 9 is the best deal for what you get, and shipping is only 5 bucks.

The problem is I'm living in Vietnam, so it will cost as much more shipping fee than the actual rim :(Roadhazardguy wrote:Ive been searching around and for the best price I think Warp 9 is the best deal for what you get, and shipping is only 5 bucks.

Oh i didn't see that, well in that case I would get these.

These are what I was thinking about getting but with shipping I decided warp 9 will be a better choice for me.
